Welcome to MMBSS' Homepage. 

MMBSS is a student run group at the University of Texas.  Though the name suggests that only Micro and Molecular majors are allowed into the group - that is untrue! 

All majors are welcome! 

• We have bi-weekly meetings where speakers of various fields are brought in.  Speakers in the past have been associated with different aspects of biology.  These have ranged from Patent Law to Cancer Research to Bioremediation to Summer Research Opportunities at facilities around the state. 
• We have access to research positions in various labs across campus - if you are interested in getting involved in research!
• We have social activities that range from MMBSS sponsored parties, coffee breaks, lunches, and more.
• We participate in various community events.  For example:  Explore UT, Race for the Cure, and other Austin activities.

If any of this sounds like an interest that you might have, please come to a meeting and see if MMBSS is a group that you would be interested joining.  Membership is open to ALL UT students!
